Quality is better than I expected.
Nice, quality is good, especially for the price. Two of these are holding up a fairly heave storage coffee table lid. It does still take some effort to lift the lid open but these hold it once it's open. I'd probably buy the next higher pressure ones if buying again. But I'm happy with these.

this is a great value. I use them on my wood projects holds the lid open on 12" x 16" lid with ease. Originally i thought it would be too much pressure but it works great. A lot of others want the same price for 1 or 2. Im very pleased.
